SCCM Clients falling behind (Part 2)

Saturday, April 8, 2017 in System Center (Views: 943)
So, a lot of talk about said "nuclear options" lately, but in case my prior blog about fixing cert issues on the client didn't help, you can run this PowerShell against the client:

Remove-Item -Path 'HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\SMS\Certificates\*' -force
restart-service ccmexec

This will remove the SCCM client certs and then allow you to look to the MP for new certs once the service is restarted. You could also reinstall the client at this point, but that would be unnecessary.
